A Simpler Way To Trigger A 3DS Check

Merchants can now initiate a 3-D Secure (3DS) authentication
for fast and secure payment processing.

While other payment gateway providers are withdrawing support for 3DS checks, we are making it faster and easier with 3DSService.

3DSService is a component within the NMI Gateway.js, which is a convenient, single entry point to our collection of javascript APIs.

3DS CHECK PROCEDURES

  1. Collect card numbers with Collect.js, Customer Vault ID, or plain text.
  2. Submit the payment token to 3DSService.
  3. Receive 3DS data from 3DSService.
  4. Submit a sale to the Payment API with the payment token and the 3DS variables.

KEY FEATURES

  • Offers merchant protection from chargebacks with or without a card challenge.
  • You can provide the card data in 3 ways: Collect.js payment token, Customer Vault ID, or plain text card information.
  • Supports frictionless flow when there is no card challenge.
  • Maintain control over your customer experience by choosing how 3DS challenges are presented on your website.
  • Allows merchants that are currently using either NMI Payer Authentication 2.0 or Cardinal Commerce 2.0 to run 3DS checks on their customers before processing payments
